Seriously, another people power??????

MANILA, Philippines—A senior church prelate Sunday said that warnings of another “people power” outburst if next week’s elections were marred by massive fraud were “crazy (and) irresponsible” and the conditions that produced the 1986 popular revolt were not present now.

“The laws are not done in the streets,” Manila Archbishop Gaudencio Cardinal Rosales said in a talk with reporters, adding that the 1986 People Power Revolution that ousted dictator Ferdinand Marcos was “an extraordinary situation.”

“You don’t do that again. That’s why we have the laws now,” he added.

You're right, Cardinal. Extraordinary events call for extraordinary measures. But this is a normal national election, a standard protocol in any democratic state. Are we really getting to be that desperate? That if Noynoy Aquino loses, another people power revolution will happen? Like the only other possible thing that can happen aside from winning would be that 'he was cheated?'

This is plain crazy. I've heard these rumors personally myself, and I can't imagine Noynoy and Kris throwing tantrums in front of Malacanang or the EDSA shrine. These two spoiled brats think that they are "heirs to the throne," and that it is rightfully theirs to take. This isn't a monarchy.

Don't taint the glory and honor of the two EDSA People Powers by creating another one just to simply satisfy the hunger for power of some people. Ninoy and Cory were great people, but unfortunately Kris and Noynoy didn't seem to inherit such greatness in them.

Kris "Tililing" Aquino

Kris on Noynoy's detractors: I want to stab them

Dont be fooled by her charisma.

Television personality Kris Aquino cried foul over what she called as "below-the-belt" propaganda against her brother, Sen. Benigno “Noynoy" Aquino III, the leading presidential candidate in the May 10 elections.

“Galit ako sa kanila. Gusto ko silang saksakin (I am mad at them. I want to stab them)," Kris said of her brother’s detractors in an interview
aired over QTV’s “Balitanghali" on Sunday.

The outspoken actress did not identify anyone in particular, but she was referring to the personalities accusing Noynoy of having an unsound mind.

At least two supposed psychiatric reports on Noynoy had been recently circulated on the Internet by unknown groups, but both were proven forged. The latest report said Noynoy suffered from depression in 1979.

Noy: "Ano sinong detractors? Pigilan niyo ako. Susugurin kayo ng baby sister ko."
Mar: "Easy lang tayo babes, eto mag-role playing muna tayo!"

Kris was very careless about her comment regarding Noynoy's detractors. In fact I'm quite scared for those so-called "detractors" because Kris, I believe, is capable of ordering or doing such things. Be weary of this girl, who was once so promising. In tagalog, "ika nga may tililing ang babaeng ito." (there is something seriously wrong with this girl).

Her judgement is clouded, her views are distorted, and her opinion is forever-biased. She tends to make things personal and dwells on the insignificant and trivial details, instead of taking a look at the bigger picture. You would never hear such a comment from any of Noynoy Aquino's rival candidates/ camps. But seriously, I think she needs medication.
